Tarpon Redemption

Here’s Dave with a really nice tarpon from Sunday. After getting many fish to bite and getting several fish in the air just days before, we sealed the deal this time out. The conditions weren’t looking too good as we pull up to the bridge.  A wall of rain and dark skies approached fast and a fleet of boats raced to pull their anchors then sped away at wide open full throttle.  So there we were, one of a handful of boats, in a torrential downpour, scooping up crabs for bait. After the rain passed we made our first drift through the bridge and hooked up immediately. After a single jump and about a 20 minute fight, we had this fish to the side of the boat still green.
