Trick or Treat

I got a chance to get out Halloween morning on Kevin’s boat. We took little trip just out of Dunedin to troll some new plugs I picked up. The mackerel have been on fire and I wanted to get a few more for the smoker. As we were weaving our lines through the crab traps in about 20′ we got a few nice surprises. These tricksters were not mackerel! We ended up marking a little area that was holding some nice grouper and boated about a dozen of these guys using Yo-Zuri and Bomber deep divers with blue backs. Most fish averaged 20″  and we got a few that were keepers. Perfect day to put some treats in the bag.
